In a program combining brilliance and depth, the Orchestre Métropolitain under the direction of Mathieu Lussier offers a two-part program. Part One consists of Mozart’s Overture to The Magic Flute and Symphony No. 41; Part Two features the Montreal-born pianist Marc-André Hamelin. On his visit to Quebec this summer, he joins the orchestra and conductor in Beethoven’s great Piano Concerto No. 5 (Emperor)
