DEBUT OF SEONG-JIN CHO

Emplacement
Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay

Friday, July 26 / 8 p.m.

Brahms and Dvořák were both composers of genius, contemporaries, and exceptional artists whose deep friendship and mutual admiration spanned nearly two decades. Kent Nagano and the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal delve into the Slavic soul in a selection of Brahms’s famous Hungarian Dances, which rank among the most popular works in the repertoire, and Dvořák’s Fifth Symphony. The program also features Brahms’s masterful Violin Concerto performed by virtuoso violinist Veronika Eberle.
