First off, who is Normand Paquette?

“People may forget what you said, forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” That’s the pledge the Festival team has set itself, which I have abided by day after day for nearly a decade. An adventurer at heart, my shoes and I will continue to wander, but only to return again to the pleasure of setting foot on the marvellous site of the Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay.

MUST-SEE FESTIVAL CONCERT : The one with Richard Galliano at the Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay on July 9. One of the greatest accordionists of recent decades, this extraordinary artist will join us in Joliette!

MUSICAL TOP PICK FROM THE PROGRAMMING He is a frequent guest of the Festival, but who better to tackle this titanic work than Marc-André Hamelin. The concert Hamelin and the Rachmaninoff “Everest” set to take place on July 29 at the Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay.

ACTIVITIES TO ENJOY IN JOLIETTE Get on your bicycle and take a tour of Joliette’s panoramic bike path. 13km long, it makes for an exciting excursion!
