Antonin Cuerrier

Solo clarinet of the Drummondville Symphony Orchestra, Antonin Cuerrier is a sought-after musician regularly invited to play in the rank of most orchestras on the Quebec scene including the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and the Grands Ballets Orchestra. Member of the CASSIOPÉE and Éclat ensembles, he’s played as soloist with the Drummondville Symphony, the Sinfonia de Lanaudière and the Philharmonie Jeunesse de Montréal.

This alumnus of the Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal has studied in Germany and in Switzerland with Chen Halevi at the Hochschule für Musik Trossingen and Romain Guyot at the Haute École de Musique de Genève. This continuous work led him to be awarded the prestigious Hnatyshyn scholarship in 2014 and the DAAD prize of the Trossinger Wettbewerb in 2016.

Antonin Cuerrier has worked for different administration councils, comities and artistic projects as manager, music librarian and administrator. He’s also had the chance to teach his passion at the Conservatoire de Musique de Gatineau and the CAMMAC, Asbestos and Père-Lindsay music Camps.
