Joliette, July 17, 2023 On July 11, the Festival de Lanaudière held its business luncheon, presented by the Caisses Desjardins de Lanaudière in collaboration with Harnois Énergies.

""A strong cultural sector is an incredible calling card for our region. In this sense, the Festival de Lanaudière is an asset that sets Lanaudière apart. Living in a region with such a rich quality of life contributes to our reputation and attractiveness," says Joël Landry, General Manager of the Caisse Desjardins de Joliette et du Centre de Lanaudière.

For the first time ever, the Festival welcomed guests to the Amphitheatre Fernand-Lindsay in Joliette. This unique event kicked off with a gourmet lunch orchestrated by L'Âtre Traiteur, followed by an inspiring panel discussion hosted by Ms. Caroline Thuot, on the theme of cultural philanthropy. Our guests, Mr. Paul M. Tellier, Ms. Évelyne Caron and Mr. Charles Milliard, shared their motivations for getting involved with organizations close to their hearts. A musical performance by rising stars Marie Bégin and Samuel Blanchette-Gagnon was also on the menu. Accompanied by Renaud Loranger, Artistic Director of the Festival, they in turn delivered a vibrant testimonial on the impact of donor support on their professional and personal lives.

Among other things, the funds raised will be used for innovative musical projects, affirming the Festival's commitment to contributing to Lanaudière's reputation and quality of life.

The Festival de Lanaudière would like to thank all those who contributed to the event's success. Special thanks to our partners: Desjardins, Harnois Énergies, Medifice, Cascades, Ferme Régis, Yamaha, L'Âtre traiteur and Place des Arts.
