Third week of the Festival de Lanaudière (July 15 to 21)

Joliette, July 11, 2022 - The third week of the 45th Festival de Lanaudière turns the spotlight on Beethoven with no fewer than four concerts devoted to him, three of which will be given by the renowned German ensemble Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin. This orchestra was scheduled to perform here in 2020, for the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth. Two years and one pandemic later, we finally get the opportunity to celebrate both the immortal composer and the return to Joliette of great international ensembles.

Week Two at the Festival de Lanaudière, July 9 to 14

The second week of the 45th Festival de Lanaudière is sure to go down in the history of the event, with the very first concert featuring Charles Richard-Hamelin and Marc-André Hamelin on the same stage, the return of a mythical group, and an extraordinary marathon performance by a world-renowned cellist.
