The Return of William Christie and Les Arts Florissants
Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay
The Festival debut last summer of William Christie and Les Arts Florissants marked a milestone of virtuosity, beauty and enchantment in performance, in perfect harmony with the Amphitheatre’s charming natural setting. They return this year to offer audiences an entirely different side of Handel: Partenope, the great composer’s first comic opera, teeming with musical inventiveness. The performance will feature the six laureates of the tenth edition of Le Jardin des Voix, Les Arts Florissants’ famous academy for young signers.
